that bent goal was awesome, the delivery and the finish... if lennon could knock the ball in like that, we might not all be on darren's back. as for delivery from the left wing... still waiting for ginola's replacement

We've got a replacement, unfortunately he's injured. A fully fit Bale on left midfield would take us to another level. I think we're still searching for a left back.

It was a superb ball by Hutton and a lovely, clever header by Bent.

Hutton stormed forward at every opportunity, I thought he had a great game. As Ezza said, if we could have the width from Bale on the other side it will give the team more balance, as Shimbomba and Steeeed naturally cut in all the time to use their right pegs.

That ball from Hutton reminded me of Beckham's crossing in his prime. And I must admit Bent did take it well. The spammers were rubbish. If only they had a few less points they'd be a good bet to follow Nucarsul into free fall.
