| Bookmakers Ladbrookes are to take the lead in listing Spurs as 2/1 favourites to win the Premier League next season.
The surprise placement of the North London club as title favourites comes after a wave of audacious signings currently being signed and sealed across Europe.
It appears that Spurs will take to the field with an unstoppable line-up come August and all other contenders are said to be quaking in their boots. "I'm quaking in my boots" said Alec Ferguson.
Spurs are expected to line up with Kameni in goal, a backline of Dani Alves, Woodgate, King and Bale, a midfield of Diego Capel, Gennaro Gattuso, Michael Carrick and Brazilian superstar Ronaldino. Berbatov will be joined up front by Samuel Eto'o.
The only factor preventing a guaranteed league victory for Tottenham is the fact that all of these signings have been invented by the Daily Mail and Tribal Football. |
