Derby boss Billy Davies wants to bring old boy Tom Huddlestone back to the club he started his career with.

According to the Sun newspaper Davies is set to launch a £4 million bid for Huddlestone in January in order to support the club's fight against relegation.

England under 21 international Huddlestone joined Spurs from Derby in 2004 for a fee of £2.5 million. He spent the first season of his Spurs career on loan with Wolves, much to the disgust of his former employers but could now be set for a return to the midlands.

Sorry Dan, but perhaps The Hudd might be happiest playing regularly there. Sad

I like Hudd but if he's not gd in enough for Ramos's plan.

Let him go rather than playing him in the reserve

But, he will never get himself improve if he return to the Rams

I'd like to keep him but obviously if Ramos doesn't rate then get rid.
