After a hard day yesterday jetboating and parasailing, I wandered around the centre of Queenstown looking for a bite to eat. My eye caught the headlines of the local newspaper - it was the word Spurs that jumped out at me. Front page, local rag, full page article with photos about the local youth "soccer" team, Queenstown Silver Spurs, going the whole season undefeated. Turns out the coach and all the players are massive Spurs fans and that Tottenham sent over beanies, scarves and other souvenir items for the whole team. Great publicity for Tottenham in this rugby mad part of the world.

Hope all's going well for everybody back in HK - better get my skis ready now

OzSpur, sounds like a real hardship posting. Does it include a return 1st class fare on the QEII ?

Nice one ! !!

I was in QZ Town couple of summers ago... absolutely affraid . spent many blissful hours cycling around Lake Wanaka and Iron Mountain. My most beautiful spot in world !

Trust you've been keeping up to speed with all things Spurs on SIHK lol!

Incredibly hard. Each day has seen clear blue skies, perfect snow and great food and wine. Really struggling to cope with the hardship Razz
