Sendai

Mon and I are planning a short break in April - looking at the possibility of 5 days away in Sendai, Japan. Anyone been before ? Any tips ?

I can be equally unhelpful and say that I haven't been there either! Very Happy

Have been to Kyoto and round there (Nara, Himeji), and can recommend it.

I too have never been there. Been to tokyo and Kyoto. Lovely but expensive.

Been to lots of places in Japan but never Sendai. Check out lonely planets Thorn Tree forum - usually full of useful info.

I went there once, it was full of Japanese people! wierd scratch
