XBOX 360 - FIFA 08

Just bought it today and tried it out on my new Samsung HDTV.

Brilliant game. Not a fan of FIFA series but this one is amazing, so realistic that it beats the Winning Eleven (PES) past series (I haven't played the new PES so can't pass a judgment on that yet). Only played one match with Spurs v Liverpool. Went behind to Gerrard's freekick but levelled things up through a Keano header from Lennon's cross. Ended 1-1 and Spurs won on penalties!

Anyone fancy a live game after I sorted out my LIVE connection?

Doesn't sound very realistic to me James. Spurs winning ??? Beginners level ?? Come on....what did you do to win ?? I'm curious !

Agree with the previous versions but not sure this applies to the latest version. Have been reading some online reviews. Seems that FIFA has taken the crown this time over from PES.

I can't turn James. I've been PES for so long. It's like saying the vermin are a better team than Spurs so one should support them. I'm PES all the way.

I was at my new flat playing that game with Ellen putting the packed stuff into place yesterday. She asked why she heard Come on you Spurs chants? and I told her it is the game. So much fun with excellent commentary - not the standard one-liner anymore. I swear I can hear "Blue and White Army" etc.

Come on Daniel, sometimes you have to admit FIFA is better than PES. It is not Spurs v Vermin. No such thing as customer loyalty when you have to fork out $499 for the latest PES and $299 for FIFA
