| | Just seen the Eduardo leg-break from Saturday. Horrific stuff. All club rivalry goes out the window with an injury like that - hope he recovers. |

| | Indeed. Best wishes on his recovery and I hope he plays in many more losing north london derby matches. |

| There were quite a few songs being sung about Eduardo at Wemberlee, like: "One leg! He's only got one leg!" And quite a sophisticated one to the tune of "Oh boy": "All his life He's been kickin' With his right foot Cos his left foot's missin' Eduardo! Eduadro!" I fear that with these songs and the Adebayor one we're crossing the line a bit too often! _________________ The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom. |

| Yes. I wouldn't sing this at all.
As you know, I'm a big fan of abusing opposition players and referees (and unwelcome Chelski bystanders!), but there is a line to the form of abuse to take.
Have just read on the Beeb that he's out for 9 months. |
