It looks very likely that whoever comes up next year will go straight back down

i suppose maybe west brom might make a go of it, but stoke and bristol city will go the way of derby

Funnily enough of the three I expect Hull to make the most decent fist of it in the top division. They are playing supposedly the best football in the league, and have a number of hungry young players there. One Dean Marney in particular grabbing the headlines. They also have a wealth of players who have top flight experience, such as Okocha and of course Nicky Barmby. The priority for them would be to replace the aging Dean Windass (a great throwback to my youth reading Match Magazine who could constantly extract the urine re: his name). Also they are Europe's biggest city never to have had a top-flight team, so the catchment area is huge.

I think Dawson's brother is still there too, maybe we can arrange a swap deal.

Another benefit to them going up instead of Stoke is that tosspot Nick Hancock having to wait even longer to see them go up.

Although in their last match vs Watford who they soundly beat 3-0, none of Barmby and Okocha was even in the squad (not sure about Marney). They are probably the form team at the moment.

West Brom is up. Stoke only need one point from last game.

Is it only me or is it a fact that Spurs always loses at the Hawthorn?

I think we drew two and lost one the last two season they were in the Prem.

Looks like it is West Brom and Stoke.

We always drop points against the relegated teams. Ramos needs to sort that out next season.

Meanwhile at the bottom of the table

18 Blackpool 45 12 17 16 58 63 8 10 4 34 26 4 7 12 24 37 -5 53
19 Coventry 45 14 11 20 51 60 8 8 7 25 26 6 3 13 26 34 -9 53
20 Sheff Wed 45 13 13 19 50 54 8 5 9 25 24 5 8 10 25 30 -4 52
21 Leicester 45 12 15 18 42 45 7 7 9 23 19 5 8 9 19 26 -3 51
22 Southampton 45 12 15 18 53 70 8 5 9 23 25 4 10 9 30 45 -17 51
23 Scunthorpe 45 11 12 22 43 66 7 7 8 28 30 4 5 14 15 36 -23 45
24 Colchester 45 7 16 22 59 83 4 8 11 31 41 3 8 11 28 42 -24 37

Seems likely that one of Coventry, Sheff Wed, Leicester, Southampton will go down.

Who do you want to stay up? I have a soft spot for Southampton (mainly because of Le Tiss and more recently Bale).

I loathe Southampton and their awful fans who thought (grab your sides folks as they may just split) they were as big as Spurs when we nicked Glenda from them. As big as Spurs? HAHAHAHAHA

Agreed, I can't stand Soton. Never forgive Lowe for calling our club "North London yobbos". It hurts so much cos it is true!

Agreed! Hate Southampton!

Even more not that smug twat on Star Sports 'football crazy' keeps banging on about them! TWAT!

Be nice to beat Crystal Palace next year if they do the play-offs!

One of BMJ's worst results must've been that 0-3 defeat to Palace at Selhurst the year they got relegated. We were RUBBISH that day.
