No, not the rugby but ye olde soccer ball. Good performances all round and nice to see Maclaren sticking with his team rather than yeild to the big time Charlies. Barry again was good, SWP added width and pace (can we buy him now?) and Gerrard was played in the correct position. Good proffessional job and there seems to be a bit of swagger about us at the moment. Finally, FINALLY, the fat frank lumpard sideshow seems to have come to an end and GREAT to see him booed when he came on. I have never known a more unpopular England player in modern time (Keith Curle aside). I believe in Maclaren. It's the dawn of the unsexy manager.

Brave words there mate. I hope your right but Im not convinced quite yet.

On a side note, I'll be showing the game Wednesday if anybodys looking for a venue. 11pm kick off so it just about makes it do-able for those who have school in the morning.
