| I stormed through this book in about three days.
A novelised first-person factually-based account of Brian Clough's 44 day spell in charge of Leeds in 1974, interspersed with a second narrative from the end of his playing days through his rise through Hartlepools and Derby.
A cracking read in a very different style. I'm not usually a reader of football books, but this one was well worth it. |

| | I also read this book recently. Sounds like a torrid time he had at Leeds, he was a twat and so were the Leeds players and staff, not to mention the board of directors. And Cloughie was drunk most of the time too - quite amazing that things like that happen at the very top of the game, shambles is the word that springs to mind. |
