| The mid-season break cannot come soon enough for the mighty SiHKQT, as alcohol, tiredness and plain old stupidity have started to take its toll on the team members. With another late Sunday night looming for the team, pundits are not hopeful for a favourable outcome tomorrow evening. The self-proclaimed "Special No.10" has no doubt been telling anyone who will listen that its his midfield tenaciousness that is keeping the team in contention for a top 3 finish. Statistics, sadly, tell another story and the Lockhard faithful are beginning to wonder whether the "Special Ten" is all that special. A big performance is needed from him tomorrow night. Pot-shot Jezza did nothing last week to appease his hypercritical fans and any hopes he may have of a big money move to Team X were surely put to rest with last week's appalling performance. Team X had been monitoring him closely and the late debacle with his "baseline" call was enough for them to put their cheque book away. The veteran of the team, Ozspur, was a pale shadow of his former self, popping up occasionally with the speculative 30 yarder most of which, sadly, ended up way off target. This is a man who clearly needs a break. The team was also hit by young Dannyboy's lack of commitment last week and much again will depend on whether this talented, but obviously easily led-astray starlet, can truly step up a gear and fulfill his potential. The signs last week were not good. SiHKQT has a lot to prove tomorrow evening. Sales of "Pot-shot Jezza" shirts have dropped off markedly and a good performance by all tomorrow is sorely needed. Are we up for it?

Sorry, won't get to Delaney's till 10.30ish. Will bring the Spurs CD for the tram (it's likely I will be late for that  ) and I'll also bring the Neil Young DVD along for your enjoyment in the off-season

| 24 hours after SIHKQT veteran Ozspur was caught soliciting lady boys outside the home of SIHK news of another scandal has emerged. Star player and crowd favourite, Spur'don was reportedly suffering from a 48 hour binge drinking session. The media was alerted to his problems after his disappearance on Friday evening and failure to turn up for the sponsered 'queuearathon' on the early hours of Saturday. This was followed by another heavy drinking session on Saturday in the district of sai kung which has raised questions about his mental condition.
A spokensman for the club said they are expecting him to be named in the squad for Monday's quiz team but said it was highly unlikely he will be in Delaney's for tonight's pre-quiz training session.
The club issued a statement saying "our thoughts and prays go out to Spur'don on and his family. He is committed to striving towards a full recovery and playing a pivotal role in SIHKQT efforts to climb the table." |

Team X's denial of interest in Pot-shot Jezza reportedly led to his 'lost weekend'. SiHKQT representatives have confirmed that Pot-shot has been booked into a rehab centre. Tomorrow will be his last appearance until his health improves.

I have to say this drinking culture which has found it's way into the SIHKQT stems from Dannyboy. All these 7am finishes on a sunday morning are beginning to rub off on other members. |

| Actually, you'll notice I drink by far the least at the SiHKQT events.
Lack of funs and not being overly keen on drinking on a school night means I'm usually on the softdrinks as I will be tonight.

1. I need to get the Erikson book off you.
2. Its probably the last SiHKQT event of 2007.
3. As you are so keen on saying, its nearly christmas
4. You'll further strengthen the case for you as "Softcore".

| Dannyboy and Ozspur. I presume we're going to soldier on without Number 10. Last time we did a lot better without him so his absence ought to be positive !
