I guess if a few people arrive around 6pm there is a chance the BBQ will run later.

Is the BBQ area under cover ? ie, proceed whatever the weather ?

You won't get a much stronger lineup this season, Number 10. Come on, ask Monika to join Ellen and Mon. She'd love it.

This is the biggest social thing for SIHK since the Tram Party and CCF, and probably the last big thing of the season.

Any orders on food and drinks? I need to do some shopping in the coming days.

Have bought the food and drinks today. Bought some beers, but not wine yet. Anyone to volunteer buying wines (if you guys drink)?

Hope to see all 'Maybes' become 'Ins'. I will be at an all day seminar tomorrow, so won't be able to reply to messages until I return to office at around 6pm.

Right - my Principal has called a 'crisis' meeting this Saturday at 5.00pm about the study tour. I have no choice. As always, the meeting will start late and I will be trying vainly to hide my intense irritation. The earliest I can hope to be there is about 6.30. Jez, as per conversation on Weds I'll split the cost of food and booze with ya. I won't be able to bring anything along as I'll be rushing straight from the meeting. James, you really needn't have bought any booze for us disreputables but that's extremely kind of you to have done so. Also, can you send the address/location in Chinese so I can show it to the taxi driver.
