Great fun for everyone be it computer games (3-0, N10), shuttlecocking, wii-ing, bbqing and a win for spurs to cap it off!

Why did I wake up this morning thinking my mother was my sister, my father was my uncle and my brother was my cousin ??????

James and Ellen, it was a fabulous evening. The food, the drink, the company and and the amazing complex you live in. Even Ramos couldn't stuff up the evening (hee hee - just baiting) and Spurs managed to scrape a win against a side that hasn't scored in six games now.

Janek and Jezza did indeed clear the dance floor at Dusk till Dawn with their love embraces. It must be a private school thing :-0 For the record, the band at Sticky Fingers was waaaay better than the one at D till D. What's going on with that place - third time in a row I've seen a crap band there. Never used to happen.

Once again, James and Ellen, thanks for being great hosts. Hope we didn't disturb your neighbours too much.

Macau was pleasantly enjoyable. Stayed at The Venetian, which I'd like to say is not as OTT as many people have said, especially when you consider what it is after all in essence. One MOTHER of Casino.... Jeez it's HUGE!

The Grand Lisboa did however dissapoint, winning hands down for looking like a right fuck-up of an interior design job! The lobby is truly awful. Smile

Yup, did the gondola thing along the Marco Polo Canal and had my Mum serranaded to
Ole sole mio' by the Filipino gondolero named Ricardo. It was worth every minute of slight embaressment, to see her huge smile and love every minute of it!....Priceless.

Thanks Venetian, for making it such a memorable and enjoyable weekend for my Mum's 70th!

P.s. Special mention also for a late lunch at Fernando's, which remains one of my favourite dinning experiences EVER. Outstanding quality of food and (if you like very laid back), ambience. And in case you start to get worried about the bill, it worked out to $200 a head, including all the jarafas de sangria! It's a bloody wonderful experience I tells ya. Highly recommended for any visitor to the former Portugeezers' enclave.
