Anyone fancy a hike on Lantau this Saturday. Meet at 1 o'clock in Mui Wo, head off into dem der hills, finish off with some food on Cheung Chau and then a few beers on the deck of the slow boat back to Honky Town. Any takers?

Actually we're going to BKK so that my 9, yes 9 year old son can play in a footie tournament - whatever is the world coming to? They don't know they're living, kids these days. I'll spend all day Saturday and most of Sunday (if he does well) standing at the side of a footie pitch in stinking hot heat, so if you wanna swap let me know.

Will be on the 12.30 ferry from Central this Saturday. Reckon the hike will take about 2 to 3 hrs which means beers on the beach followed by seafood at Chen Chau around 6.30ish.
