| We need to compromise for a common venue, or arrange if no consent reached.
Apparently, we have at least 3 Spurs groups in Hong Kong:
1. Delaney's 2. Skitz 3. spurs.hk
We can hardly compromise on anything if we remain a large group, like what we did on 7/6, though it was a good gathering to get know each other.
I'd suggest to set up a committee with 6 members, 2 from each group and discuss the essential items for the gathering in the coming season. The representatives will reflect the idea or the standpoint of their groups.
Any comment?

| | Excellent idea, though I would think that it will be to discuss setting dates for a few big get-togethers for the big games and occasional other events like the footie match this Saturday. |

| Suggestion ....
We talk to the bars in question and see what deals they can offer us. We can then conclude where we want to try (also subject to viewing, priority games, comfort etc.).
Let's not forget that the ball is always in our court, especially if we have regular drinking numbers.

| Its good to see that everyone's being open minded about the choice of venue.
OK I admit I'm bored, so I thought it might be interesting to weigh up the 3 options discussed at greater lengths so far, in a 'sort of' qualitative analysis, as follows:
1. Location / convenience: BD 5 / DEL 5 / MS 3
2. Priority Spurs matches: BD 5 / DEL 4 / MS 3
3. Satellite Channels Available: BD 3 / DEL 4 / MS 3
4. Comfort: BD 4 / DEL 4 / MS 4
5. Staff Service: BD 5 / DEL 4 / MS 3
6. Pricing: BD 5 / DEL 3 / MS 3
7. Opening Hours (midweek games): BD 3 / DEL 5 / MS 3
Scores thus far, BD 30 / DEL 29 / MS 22 |

| | It should be said that the cheap offer for drinks in BD is only for lager, which doesn't help Guinness or Boddies drinkers like me. And I'm not sure how many people realistically are going to watch too many of the midweek games out - personally I'll stream them. And if there is a midweek game on and there are a few people who want to watch it, wouldn't Delaney's still offer to show it? |

| | Great analysis there Hairy. I think you went a bit low on MS side though. |

Thanks for clarifying the important qualification for 'Student pricing". Cut that to a 4 or 4.5 for BD then for pricing!
