ezza, once we’ve settled in a bit I’d like to come down for a kick. Been a few years since I’ve done anything serious but I’ll keep the bench warm for sure. Priority for now is to get some spare time in Delaneys to watch some games.

twiglet, yep, an E17er although been working abroad for some years. Spent a lot of time trawling the ‘mount area. Champers, The Prince Albert, etc etc… ahhh those were the days…

Hello fellow Yids - Harry from Macau here. Great to be there on Sunday and what a night!

I'm one of them anomalies - a Yid from south London. Averaged 30-40 games a season for a while in the old days when you could pay on the gate home and away: anyone on here remember paying 4 quid on the night of the UEFA final in '84?! I got my Spurs tattoo done the day after the UEFA final. Used to stand in the East Stand Lower down near the corner flag/exit. Favourite Spurs player ever is Graham Roberts. Used to drink in The Bull in the 80s and then in The Bank and the Pleasure Rooms (aaah, Sammi Jessop...) for the year I was back in the UK 99-00 season: I've been overseas since early '92. I won't wear anything red, ever, and love Spurs so much that my daughter is named Lily 'cos she was born a Lilywhite!

I'll try and get over when I can, but looking at the schedule I don't think I'll be in HK for a game until Blackburn away.

Harry, SIHK had contemplated the idea of watching a game in Macau. Maybe it will happen. Who knows?

Great to meet you on Sunday Harry. A night of epic proportions. An away trip to Macau would be awesome. May be a Uefa cup night? Giving it large in a casino until the early hours and hole up in some bar for the game. Of course a day off from work would need to be procured.

More away day trips to Hebe Haven, Macau, Mongkok, etc. is the way forward. Interspersed with our usual home at Delaneys. Happy, happy days!

thanks daniel.

Great site, only found out about it at delaney's on sunday when i saw a bunch of you wearing the t-shirts...

It was nice talking to you james and edmond, didnt really get a chance to speak to anyone else. The atmosphere was fantastic, shame about the result tho, was hoping we'd end the season with bang. If only the players were as passionate as the fans...

I'm Chris, 32, been supporting the spurs since the mid-80's. I'm Indian by origin, been in hk since '95. I'm into trading and exports. Usually watch the games at delaney's kowloon, and before seeing the support at wan chai, i knew 4 other spurs fans..haha.

Looking forward to next season and meeting up with all of you again.

oh, might i suggest pinning this thread to the top of the forum so it always stays there. It'd be easier for newbies to start posting. Thanks for the bump again daniel.

we did do this but it just hangs around at the top for weeks without being updated as new yids in HK/using the board has slowed down a lot. If this changes we will put it as a sticky but for now someone always just bumps it...
