Stew - whats with the Avatar? Thats a Chingford Spurs flag, my home town. Any reason or just a random Spurs flag? Looks great though dont it Very Happy

Years ago on the Spurs Messageboard called SIMB, one of the regulars there was a bloke called Dave Brown - aka Chingford Yid.

Him and his mates decided to splash out on a messive THFC flag and had one of the biggest made. It was too big to go in the ground so they decided to display it over the Northumberland Arms pub in Tottenham and took some pics. I along with others were well impressed.

Anyway a few years later I saw the flag again on www.barmyflags.com and saved the image. I myself am not from that area, but my wife's surname being 'Ching' has some association etc.

Nice story that Stew. I remember Dave Brown from Chingford, a few years older than me and definetley one of the 'geezers' down the pub - Ah, Ive got meself all reminising now....

Nice selection there - cant wait to see them all at next years UEFA cup final cheers

I suppose that'll be the site to get our HK Spurs flag made up...
