I swear there were some words of sympathy said by me to ezza as he left the pitch - although the video evidence may suggest otherwise.

Thanks for your concern guys. Knocked down 6 Ibuprefen yesterday and spent the whole with a hot water bottle stuck down my groin. Walking like John Wayne but feeling more comfortable today.

Club physio recommends 4 - 6 week lay off, but I'm a quick healer and hope to be back within 3 - 4 weeks.

Next thing we know you'll have stress fractures in the metatarsals of both feet and will be out for three months. Easier to sit on the treatment table and collect your money than to have to do the hard miles like the rest of us, eh?
