Glad you made it on this messageboard! Not so strange that you call yourself 'Charlton Yid' because I do recall you telling me before that you were born very close to the Valley Football Stadium etc.

Getting Spurs fans at the ground to queue and buy your beers hey??

Stew.

Welcome CharltonYid. It seems you're from my neck of the woods -grew up in Lewisham and used to alternate between WHL and the Valley, whenever I couldn't afford to go to away games.

Cheers for the welcome lads. I do indeed live next door to the Valley and can quite often be found there if i'm not at the lane (don't worry i'm normally in the away end for the spurs games).

Hope you like the pic of me and the big man he is massive i'm not really that short!!

Welcome indeed, CharltonYid. Good to have you on board. Great pic. We have a similar pic with BMJ nephew taken a few months back at the last big SiHK gathering for the Arse game. He too is a big lad.

On a separate note, we must do something about the title of this thread. GDG work your magic stuff...........Shame on the person who started it Embarassed

Welcome Charlton Yid!

If I may put your picture with Martin Jol in smileys, that would probably be

Any better? I'm not sure I'd be very flattered at being compared to a goofy, long-eared rabbit, James. We're not very good at this being nice to Spurs-supporting women, are we?

Rabbit is symbolic of being cute. I didn't pay much attention to the long ears or that...

Twiglet I think knows me better than anyone due to the amount of alchohol I have consumed with him over the years!

But thank you all for your warm welcome.

I'm loving winding up all the charlton fans in my local re Darren Bent joining I think most of them would prefer him to go anywhere else but to us. A friend knows his father and reckons that if he moves it will be to another London club.

If we sign him for anything over 12 Million, the Charlton fans may have the last laugh though I am afraid! Mad
