Well Chris is bringing 3 with him, so I think if its concerning pure numbers of players we have the strength in depth to cope.

Psychologically however that is a MASSIVE blow.

Whats the story? Is everything ok? Will he still be coming for post-match drinks?

Working on a Saturday night at 9.30pm? What sort of a job is that? I can understand twiglet or HKY having that problem, but Hairy? He's part of the backbone of the team!

Gutted to hear that SIHK XI (or was it VII ?) went down 2 - 4 away from home last night.

Regardless, I think the riots in Tai Kok Tsui today calling for GDG's head to roll and the burning of his effigy has gone way overboard.

I understand that GDG and some of the SIHK players have been placed under house arrest tonight "for their own safety". Can anyone else verify these reports ?

Back to my reality. Just penned the last paragraph of my report and just about managing a smudgeon of satisfaction amid what has been my crappiest weekend of the year . Regardless, I'm pleased to hear that you guys had a ball.... (no pun intended).

I think we had XI or maybe even XII, but we had IV new players, some of whom arrived after we'd kicked off so people didn't even know one another's names. Not that I think it would have changed the result much.
