All things being equal I'd rather not sell him. However, given the current situation, the fact this season is a write off as far as original objectives go, Berbatov's attitude, his age and amount of money it will take to secure his services, I think a transfer could suit all parties.

We shouldn't be afraid of selling players providing we get the right deal. Arsenal did this to great success with Anelka, Petit and Overmars. They moved on.

We failed to do the same with Campbell or Carr and look what happened.

hear hear, lets get through Jan, have a strong end to the season, pick up a bit of silverware (slip the big fella a couple more quid a week "there you go son, buy the old lady sunnik nice!") and he will stop sulking, take us to the League and Champions League double, my hair will start growing back, I'll win the mark six and we'll all live happily ever after!

(I want that most optomistic award next year)
