(1) Bale's injury could well keep him out until Christmas.

(2) There are currently 5 names on our 'interested' list for January. The problem is that in his paranoia Galahad sent the names of 3 of them on a piece of paper covered with letters cut out of a newspaper (as you do ) and when the envelope was opened, the letters tumbled to the floor (lesson for all of us there, gnome spittle makes poor glue). All Galahad could recall was that of their names (the names they're generally known, e.g. Ramos rather than Ramos Cano), two contained 6 letters and one contained five. He also mentioned that one name surprised him due to his current club.

The 17 letters were A, A, A, A, D, E, E, I, I, J, Q, R, R, R, R, R, U
