Another player that has been constantly linked to Spurs...not sure if we need him now ?

Tottenham Hotspur seem to be getting closer to signing long term target Curtis Davies from Championship club West Bromwich Albion.
Davies has reportedly told Baggies manager Tony Mowbray that he is not willing to spend another season in the Championship and is desperate to complete a move to a Premiership club.
Tottenham are joined by Newcastle United, Manchester City and Portsmouth as admirers of the defender who is likely to leave The Hawthorns for around £8million.

I think he is a great player. Would love to see him at Spurs but 8 millyan? Jeez...

the prices are bloody ridiculous these days. I wouldnt pay 8 mill for a backup centre back. Although we certainly need one, i wouldnt want us to spend more than 3-4 mil at the most. Unless they are really special. And i dont consider davis to be one of those.

I think he could but he broke his leg and I have no idea what he is like since his injury.
