| | Quote: | Fredi Kanoute's agent claims Newcastle United and Portsmouth are tracking the Sevilla striker.
Kanoute, who has previously played for Spurs and West Ham, has enjoyed great success in La Liga.
The France-born Mali striker has 21 goals to his name this term and has been pivotal to the club's success.
However, a move could well be on the cards with his agent Christophe Mongai confirming interest from two Premiership clubs.
"It's true Newcastle are interested, but so are Portsmouth," Mongai said in the News of the World.
"There's no concrete offer yet, but Fredi is interested." |

| Now that WOULD be barmey !
Thanks for that James... now there's some interesting (albeit hypothetcial) food for thought...
Admittedly, while not having been privy to the "hand-bags" with former Manager, Pleat (wanker), I'd say... sign him up if he's agreeable to it. Remember his role as a foil for botheDefoe and Keano and his famous "sticky chest" ? ... Tasty
Problem would be same as last time... off he goes for over a month in Jan / Feb for the African Nations Cup games. Maybe this time however, we can afford to cover him...
Question is ...
Would you prefer Daren Bent or Freddie Kanoute ? |
