TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR are still interested in signing Christian Wilhelmsson, according to his agent.

The Swedish winger spent last season on loan at Roma from French outfit Nantes who were relegated last season.

The 28-year-old is happy to stay with Roma but Wilhelmsson's agent Mino Raiola has claimed that Spurs have shown an interest.

"There could be an extension to the loan but there have been several clubs who have shown a real interest," his agent italian agent Mino Raiola told the Sun.

"One of those clubs is Tottenham. Roma want to keep him but the final decision is for Nantes."
