Rip Mark Kendall

The Club was saddened to hear of the passing of our former goalkeeper Mark Kendall at the age of 49.

A Welsh Under-21 international, Mark joined us as an apprentice in March, 1975 and turned professional in July, 1976.

He made his full debut at Norwich City in November, 1978 and went on to make 36 appearances for our first team, 29 in the league, before moving to Newport County in September, 1980.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time

I remember him well. Shocked and sad to hear of his death at such a young age. RIP Mark Kendall.

Trying to remember if he was after Barry Daines , i think he would have been around time of Willie Young , Steve Perryman .

Yes he was around at the time of Daines and Mila Alexic. Kendall didn't play much though. Definitely Tottenham's No 3.

On 1 May 2008, Kendall unexpectedly collapsed and died at his home, aged 49. According to Wikipedia.
