I wonder whether this may have an an impact on us. Would Fergie make an outrageous bid for Berbs or offer silly money for Defoe to bolster what in all reality is a fairly weak attack that Utd have? Or even better, take Mido off us!

And when are we going to get rid of Murphy? Transfer window ending soon and once again I feel we have failed to address the main areas of concerns. Areas that any Joe Fan can see yet fail to be addressed by BMJ, Comelli and Levy - not necessarily in that order.

Defoe isn't going anywhere. It's common knowledge he is intent on running down his contract to leave on a Bosman.

I'd drop him from the bench.
