Interesting re Gunter - in his wikipedia entry it says that as of tomorrow he will agree to join us in January.

Why do we need another right back? Selling Shimbomba to Chelski? Or getting rid of Stalteri and grooming another kid to come through into the first team?

Unlike Bale who arrived with a great reputation, I have never heard of this Chris Gunter. Seems that he is not an automatic choice at Cardiff City either. $4M seems a lot of money for an unproven kid who plays right back.
