News of the World reports today that Alan Curbishley will get no cash in the summer, and that he might have to sell his best players to get any new faces in.

Juande Ramos at Tottenham is desperate to sign a new goalkeeper and West Ham's Robert Green is a target. Anton Ferdinand, Dean Ashton and George McCartney are other names that could be moving across London.

George McCartney has also been linked with AC Milan. The N Ireland interantional has shown great form this season both at club and country level.

Alan Curbishley spent heavilly last summer and West Ham's Premier League status is secured. There have been rumours about Curbishley's future at Upton Park, why ?

When Curbishley took over at West Ham late in 2006 the club was in dangour of a relegation to the Championship, but Curbishley saved the club from that.

Rumours have been circulating for a while now that the Spammers have indeed bust the bank, after their big spender egg-head went bizzark with the cheque book.

Is Rob Green any good? Heard that George McCartney (what a name!) is something special.

I can't recall seeing Linda McCartney play. But the other players mentioned I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Green is even more accident prone than our England no.4. Anton Ferdinand epitomises everything I hate about modern footballers. And he's completely over rated. Dean Ashton just a big lump of a centre forward with very little finess. No thank you to any of their rejects.

It was Robert Green who gifted Dawson our equaliser when we played them at Upton Park this season.

Agreed, this is tosh, the only two players I'd sign from the whole of West Ham's squad wd be Mark Noble and Matthew Upson and both of those wd be squad players at our club.

You guys make a lot of sense. Must admit I'm a bit baffled about the lack of quality in their squad (despite all the $$$ they've spent over the past couple of years) ...
